国际化氛围的沃土助我成长

 高三美国课程班  季皓珺

My name is Ji Haojun from UTHS 12, international department. Please allow me to introduce myself. I joined Gold Apple in 2012. Since then, international department has been providing me various platforms to express my talents.

I’ve achieved quite a few awards in the field of English, invention and designing as well as mathematics and science. I entered for national speech contest by 21^stcentury press, and won 1^strank price in 2012. In the same year, when I was still in 10^th grade, I got 103 in TOEFL and 7.5 in IELTS. The next year, I joined the science and innovation club and did plenty of projects alone and with my partner Ray. We achieved 1^strank price in the contest of invention and designing in Pudong new District. This year, I defeated debaters from Shanghai High School, Pinghe  bilingual School and some other schools and won the best debater price in OCSEP English debating contest. Then I’m obsessed by Math and science. I got top 5% in the Math contest by Waterloo University in Canada in April. This summer, I’m qualified by University of Pennsylvania in the Single variable Calculus. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got full marks for both Physics and Math level two in SAT. I also got 3.7 in GPA.

My resume looks fantastic and I’d attribute that to the free and innovative atmosphere in international department, especially in UTHS program where I belong. Our teachers encourage us to devote ourselves in any field we’d like to dedicate. We’re treated as typical high school students in the United States. Therefore, our potentials of creativity, team participation and organization as well as academic skills are revealed to the great extent.

In the end, I shall  thank our school and each and every one of my teachers. I highly appreciate your dedication in education and relentless assistance throughout years. Thank you!
